Unfortunately, this will be the last Hazel Lane box for a while. They are now undergoing a change in funding and location (I think) and miiiight be back up with subscriptions in a few months but I don't have any details about the pricing structure or if they'll even still be monthly. I will update when I know more but I think it'll be a little while longer before they get that stuff figured out. |
I. Cannot. Believe. This costs $24.00. It's tiny. The list of items says this is a customized size for subscribers. Their Etsy shop only lists this print in 11x14 for $35.00 and 13x19 for $50.00. Are they insane?! I'm really not happy with almost 1/3 of the entire value of the box being this little print. | I'm not sure where they got the $4.00 value listed on the card from - their website lists 2" votives at $2.99 and this can't be any bigger than that. It doesn't even come with a glass holder to be able to burn it in! |
Once again they were a little off on the retail value. The website lists this exact same 2-pack for $10.00 and the card lists $12.00. These are made for iPhones only and I have a Galaxy s6 Edge, so this doesn't even fit my phone correctly. I can manipulate it to, but I don't know why they'd include an item that leaves out any non-iphone users. | I had to do a little math to get the value - these are only offered in boxes of 40 on their website. This is just a bonus item in the box so it's not listed on the card - but considering I was missing an item, which I'll mention later, I'm including it in mine. Mine came totally melted but that's not their fault - it was a really hot day when this box was finally delivered to me. |
The ingredients are: dark chocolate enrobed caramels lightly sprinkled with malden sea salt, fleur de roselle. The last ingredient definitely give them a very flowerly flavor. It's intriguing! | These chocolates came melted as well - but again it was a really hot day! They're still chocolate, it's not like they're ruined! I've actually already devoured both of them. This flavor is very interesting. |
I can't find any Air + Plant brand anywhere so I have no idea if this retail value is correct. I really can't imagine it is though since it's just a tiny little air plant - which looks mostly dead as well - and a seashell. It looks cool so I'm going to try to bring it back to life but I can't help but think the value listed is inflated. |
This is something I appreciate. I've been wanting to get into yoga now that I have so much time on my hands but I have no idea where to start and I definitely don't want to take an actual class. This is something I can do in my own apartment, streamed right to my tv. It's perfect! |
The item list also said that I should have gotten Gold Ink Tattoos valued at $4.00. These were not in my box and I also didn't receive any care instructions or a business card with the air plant, which I saw in other people's reviews and pictures. It's things like this and the inflated values listed that make me really disappointed in this final month's box. Along with the fact that it wasn't sent out on time either. Most people didn't even get theirs until well into July. |
As I said, Hazel Lane is on a bit of a break right now so I don't really know what's going on. After looking at their website just now - there are quarterly subscriptions available for purchase? I have no idea. I emailed them for more information. They haven't been very forthcoming with information lately.
