Hazel Lane is an amazing subscription box that takes you to a new city (usually in America) each month and brings you the best and most representative items of that city. I found a great deal to get a 3-month subscription on Gilt City and this is my third month (I thought I was supposed to skip this month and use my 3rd month in November, but I guess not - which I'm actually really happy about!) This month, Hazel Lane has brought us to Nashville, Tennessee! The Music City full of southern comfort! |
This was the first item I saw when I opened the box and I love it! I always welcome a new bag and I've always really loved the list of names design. I'm not a big country music fan but I LOVE Johnny Cash so all that really matters is that his name is first! :) Another thing I really love about this tote is that it's a Hazel Lane exclusive item and 100% of the profits go back to charity! Most of the profits go to helping local charities around Nashville, namely Set Free which helps defeat people recovering from homelessness, drug/alcohol addiction and mental illness. This smells so good! I've gotten so much soap from subscription boxes, I'll never have to buy any ever again! This bar is 4oz. which is a good size. It's all natural, vegetarian, and handcrafted in Nashville. It contains coconut oil, olive oil, palm oil, sunflower oil, water, lye, orange peel and essential oil. The orange peel definitely gives it a great crisp citrus smell. This is going straight into my shower! |
This is just the cutest little container. I love the design and it smells really good too. This is great for chapped lips and dry skin. The weather getting colder has been reeking havoc on my lips so this was tested out immediately. I really like it! Sometimes I'm picky about lip balms and especially when they're in a tub form like this, but the consistency is great! |
This looks delicious! I haven't tried it yet but I already know just by looking at it that it will be quite decadent. This company began making multi-layered candy in 1912 and changed the face of candy in America. This is made up of marshmallow nougat, peanut, caramel and milk chocolate. Yum!! The guitar pick is a cute touch too, since this is Music City! I actually haven't attempted to play guitar since I was like 15 so this went to my roommate who plays guitar all the time! |
This is probably my favorite item in the box! Honestly, it confused me for about 2 seconds because I couldn't tell what it was when it was all folded up. It's also an unusual material for a scarf but I actually really like it! It's very lightweight and cool-feeling to wear. Sometimes, scarves make me feel choked and overheated but I think this one will be extremely comfortable for me! Plus, there's nothing better than black & white plaid! Plus, this is handcrafted by one of Martha Stewart's American-made artisans! |
I love this! I've seen some other variations so subscribers will receive a different print on an upcycled music sheet. I'm very happy with the print that I received, because it give this a great vintage look! I'll have to get a nice frame for this to proudly display. I think another thing I really love is the color scheme - the vintage color of the jar goes great with the black and white background of the music sheet. I also definitely appreciate that this is shipped in a plastic protective sleeve. I've experienced too many ruined products because of items not being wrapped well, and this was a good one! |
