Each month you receive 4 - 6 fun and unique snacks in your box. Here is what I received this month:
Benito's Habanero-infused Maple Syrup - $8.25 www.benitoshotsauce.com This is a sensational pairing of sweet and heat with a rich maple taste. The award-winning syrup - a blend of Pure Vermont Grade B with fiery habanero - can be used just like a regular maple syrup, as a spicy dessert sauce, with steamed vegetables or as a glaze for your favorite meats. My first impression of this was - WHAT?! But then reading about how to use it, it now sounds like it would be delicious on vegetables or as a meat glaze. This is something that I would never buy normally, but now that I have some and will try something new, who knows? It could become a new favorite! | Hand-poured Maple Moose Pop - .75 www.burnhamandmills.com A lollipop made from real VT maple syrup in the shape of a moose head. Ok, let's get this part out of the way. I don't even like MAPLE! I know - why would I get a box of treats from Vermont, known for maple, when I don't even like maple? Because I can - and like I said, Vermont has way more to offer than just maple products, but you have to assume that in every box you are probably going to get something that is maple. I'm sure that this will be delicious to someone - is there anyone in my family that wants dibs on this? I'll happily hand it over so that you can enjoy what is, I'm sure, great maple flavor! |

Yes - I when I look at this product, in my head that inner voice keeps saying: MEAT-A-BALL - that's a spicy meat-a-ball! Haha! I can't help it.
Here's the description: Maximize workouts, work days, sporting events and school days with a 3-pack of MetaBalls from Vermont Nut Free Chocolate. Available in a variety of flavors, MetaBalls gives you energy to burn!
Excuse me.....did that just say chocolate? Ok I'm in! I have never heard of this product before. What an interesting item. The flavor on mine is Bashin' Berry - Blueberry & Raspberry. I assume that is 3 different flavors for 3 different MetaBalls that are inside. Very interesting -- this is chocolate? Another great reason for this box. This is something that I may never have come across and yet here it was delivered to my door for me to try!

Jan's Farmhouse Crisps are a healthy alternative cracker full of delicious ingredients like cranberries, flax seeds, pistachios, sesame and pumpkin seeds.
These look scrumptious and are filled with all those nutrient-rich nuts and seeds! This is a nice 2 oz sized package, plenty to try and see if it's something you would like more of
For every box Vermont Snacks ships, they donate a meal to the Vermont Foodbank. This earns them bonus points in my book!
If I were not on a quest to obtain and review many boxes at the moment, I would probably keep this one going for awhile, mostly because of my affinity for the state of Vermont. I am thrilled with the items and I think it achieved exactly what they intended - to put products in my hands that I might never have seen or tried before.
