The theme for this month's Love with Food is Monster Mash. It was an odd assortment of items and a few of them I couldn't eat because of the gluten. Those got passed on to hubby. I am finding that since they introduced their exclusively gluten-free box that they put less gluten-free items in the regular box, and those that are gluten-free are not that desirable to me. I decided that this will be my last LWF box. The gluten-free box is twice as much as this one so I won't be getting that either. I still feel it's one of the best value's though and a really fun box to receive each month. |
Almond butter is all the rage now and it's also very good. These I can use and I plan to enjoy the flavor. I have not had either chocolate or honey flavored but I am sure they will both be tasty.
Snapea Crisps by Calbee The only way I can describe these is that they are like a Cheet-o, but pea flavored. They don't really have much taste other than a salty taste. I find them rather weird and not really worth the price that you usually have to pay for things like this because they are considered more "healthy". |
Organic Original Falafel Chips by Flamous A blend of tumeric, onion, garlic, spinach, carrot, red pepper, tomato and green bell pepper - makes a weird tasting chip! These have the texture and flavor of those Beanito chips, which I'm not really partial to. See why this box was not really a win for me? I'd rather just have a Lay's potato chip! It actually has less ingredients. |
Banana, cinnamon and sugar bar.
