Send Me Gluten Free is a service that tries to help people who need to eat gluten free find new products that they can safely eat and enjoy. They do a wonderful job in providing many different products to us. There is always something in the box that I had no idea I could eat, or wanted to try but didn't really want to spend the money to try it. Let's face it, gluten free products are very expensive and so much of the time are made of just junk and quite often do not taste good. This service allows you to try many products and find which ones you like. Once you find a good product, it's awesome. Send Me Gluten Free sent this box for review. I love reviewing their boxes because I gain so much in return! Here is what came this month: |
I love this bread! It's interesting because the week before I received this box I decided to try a loaf of this bread after much procrastination. I've tried a few gluten free breads and to be honest, nothing tastes very good. I had decided to make some tunafish and I kept thinking how nice it would be to eat it with bread and Lay's potato chips! Typically I would just eat the tuna by itself because that has become the norm for me. At $5 a loaf - a very small loaf - it's not something you can just buy and throw away if it's not good. Well, that week I ate a tunafish sandwich everyday! This bread is very good and I will continue to buy it. I felt like a normal person that week, bringing a sandwich to work! One of my co-workers even said to me "You're eating bread!" It was great!
~ Deep River Snacks ~ Sweet Maui Onion Kettle Cooked Potato Chips These chips are always welcome - since chips are one of the go to snacks for gluten free. Yummy! ~ Mediterranean Snacks ~ Sea Salt Bean Stalks I've never seen this product before. They're made of beans. I'm looking forward to trying them. |
This was really good! It was sort of like a Rice Krispie treat. A very interesting texture and a good taste.
~ Chicken Soup Stock ~
This is interesting. I don't have much problem finding gluten free chicken stock. I don't know why you'd need it in a powder form. I'll give it a try though.
