Well, I couldn't stay away for long. I had cancelled POPSUGAR Must Have for one month and then saw that Mindy Kaling's book was going to be in October's (I love getting books in subscription boxes) and signed back up. The inspiration words for October's box were: autumn, restful nights, cozy, irresistible, breast cancer awareness. For the breast cancer awareness part, POPSUGAR made a donation to Right Action for Women. |
This is one of my least favorite items in the box. I am really not a big caramel fan and I tried one bite of these and didn't finish the rest. I'm sure it's good for people who like caramel but it's just too much for me. I'm glad it's the cheapest item in the box because I wouldn't want to waste the most expensive. Nothing against Belgian Boys - their other products look delicious! Especially the ones with chocolate on them! | This is another breast cancer awareness item - It's a 10 Haircare is a proud partner of Right Action for Women, helping to provide advanced cancer screenings to women. This leave-in product is for reducing frizziness, detangling and adding shine to your hair. If it does that for mine, it WOULD be a miracle! |
This scrub smells amazing! It was the second spoiler item and I was really excited about it. I love all kinds of scrubs and have gotten a lot of different ones in subscription boxes. I normally don't like lavender smelling things, but the vanilla gives it a really yummy scent! Mine has liquified quite a bit from the heat but it'll still do the trick! This is going straight into my shower! This also came with a 30% off coupon code for bundles. |
At first I wasn't too excited about these - I don't like pink that much and I always scoff at boxes that put fluffy socks in them. Then I put them on. Now I'm in love. These are SO soft and warm, I will be wearing these all winter for sure! These were also design in support of Right Action for Women. This is something I probably wouldn't have bought for myself but now I can't imagine spending a winter in Colorado without them! | This was pretty much the main reason I signed back up for POPSUGAR Must Have. I love Mindy Kaling (although I've really only seen her in The Office) and I have her other book as well. I just really love getting books in subscription boxes because I can never have too many books. Especially actual books. I just love lining my shelves with them. Pretty soon I'll need another bookshelf. |
I'm glad this is another of the cheaper items because I wasn't thrilled about these either. This was like getting the paper napkins in the last box I got. I'll try to hold onto these though in case I ever grow up and bring wine to a party like grown-ups do. I do like the designs, I just don't see myself using them very soon. |
Let me start off by saying that the color of this pillowcase is called White Russian (my favorite drink and part of a movie I love, The Big Lebowski). This pillowcase is 100% satin and is supposed to prevent sleep wrinkles and reduce hair breakage. It's also insanely soft and I've used it the past two nights. This came with a 20% off coupon code for an online order. |
This box wasn't a HUGE hit with me but I think they did a good job with the theme and everything looks really nice together. I'll get use out of the majority of the items so I'm happy with that! The total retail value of this box came to about $150.00 (including the $40 gift card). The value of the leave-in product was given in the card as $11.96 but it's clearly a sample bottle so that cannot be accurate. Even so, this box was well over the cost of the box and I can't complain about that.
