| Natural Journey is based in Norfolk, VA, and created and owned by Crystal Robinson. Subscribers received one of two products from them: whipped shea butter moisturizer or nourishing oil. I received the shea butter and my mother received the nourishing oil. I love this product already. It has all natural and organic ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, sweet almond, avocado oil, vitamin E, caster oil, vanilla essential oil and the amazing smell comes from the mango botanicals. It's good for hair, hands, feet and lips - so this will definitely get all used up! Check out other Natural Journey products here! |
Rachel Gaxiola owns Southern Fried Chick and offers baked goods and home decor with a southern flair, based in Norfolk, VA. This is a lemon coconut bar, tart and sweet with a slight chew. They're also certified ServSafe. I haven't tried it yet, but I think it'll be really tasty! I'm not usually a big fan of the texture of shredded coconut but I think it'll pair perfectly with the dense lemon bar. The value I gave is just for one bar, but you can buy a package of 9 bars for $12.00 - they're all made fresh and shipped same day! Check out their Etsy shop here! |
A Navy Heart is based in Virginia Beach, VA, and owned by Jennie Taylor. Their meant to show thanks and respect to the military father in your life. The cards are handmade and military themed, with patriotic colors and camouflage patterns. These cards are adorable but my father wasn't in the military (my stepfather was though so I think I'll use one of these for him this father's day!) Check out their Etsy shop here! |
Discover Teas is based in Newport News, VA, and all their varieties are hand-picked, natural flavors. Both my mother and I got creamy earl green. This blend is described as "a tasty balance of black and green teas with bergamot, vanilla, and earthy sencha flavors. Plus you get all the health benefits of both green tea and black!" I have SO much tea around my house but I don't think I ever actually had earl grey/green tea before. I usually go for more fruity flavors when buying it. This might be a fun thing to try some cold night. Check out their other flavors here! |
Piece of Mine Gifts is based in Norfolk, VA, and these shells were handpicked from the sands of Virginia Beach! I went to VA Beach years ago with my Dad and I loved it there! These candles are adorable but I don't want to burn them so they'll be a nice decoration in my bathroom! They smell really nice even without burning too! Check out their Etsy shop here! |
