I only made it one month without them.
I re-subscribed after skipping just 1 month, and now I'm back for good. I gave my mom a 6 month subscription to LWF for Christmas and she really enjoys it. I did NOT enjoy seeing her get January's box and I didn't!
For the money - $12 a month, this is one of the most inexpensive boxes you can get, but it always has the most things in it. Yes, it's all food - but DUH! - it's called Love with FOOD! Sometimes they throw in a little extra non-food item. December they gave us a reusable bag. This month they have given us a heart-shaped chip clip thingy. The other great thing about this company is that for every box you purchase they donate a meal to a hungry child. WIN - WIN all around! Somehow it just makes you feel like a little kid getting a present when you see that bright red box in your mailbox. For it to arrive right on Valentine's Day this month was just extra cool.
This month's theme is A Kiss to Build a Dream On. Let's check it out...
Restaurant Style White Bean Chip by Beanitos
Lightly salted, gluten-free, non-GMO chips made with navy beans and whole grain rice are loaded with health benefits such as fiber, protein, and carbohydrates.
I have been eating Beanitos for a couple of years now ever since a nutritionist recommended them to me. There are only a couple of flavors in my grocery store though and this one is one that I haven't tried so I'm anxious to try these out.
This is a 1.5 oz bag and has about 1 1/2 servings in it.
It's pretty good sized, like 3 inches wide, and it's adorable. We always need these clips for something.
This classic childhood treat gets a makeover with simple ingredients, free from artificial preservatives, flavors or colors.
These look really yummy and we'll have no problem scarfing these down. Who doesn't love graham crackers?
They come in a nice 1 oz sized package. Plenty for me and my husband to share.
Indulge your sweet tooth with antioxidant packed whole dried blueberries covered in dreamy dark chocolate.
This is real whole dried fruit covered in chocolate. A 1 oz bag is plenty for us to give these yummy berries a try!
I can't wait to try these out - YUMMY!
This is a great gluten-free snack and look how handy it is to bring this with you for a snack on the go!
I love olives and that hint of garlic sounds like it would just make them taste even better.
This is a .7 oz package and there looks to be about 5 olives in there.
Handmade with pure, natural ingredients, twice baked for just the right amount of crunch, and sprinkled with chocolate chips to satisfy that chocolate craving.
My biscotti came broken - but that just makes it easier to share! Of course since it's my box, I get the bigger half - don't you agree?
Biscotti is a fun food to eat because it's got that weird thing where it's so hard and crunchy when you eat it dry but if you just add the tiniest bit of moisture all of a sudden it just breaks completely apart in your mouth! I know that this will get consumed with no problem. I just wish it was bigger! This piece is about .6 oz.
MOKACCINO by TCHO
Rich, intense dark chocolate.
There are these 2 little square of chocolate. One is extremely rich and "chocolatey". The other one is Serious Milk Chocolate + Blue Bottle Coffee to make Mokaccino.
Can you say delicious? I'm sure these will be. When we get squares like this, my husband and I each take half so that we can both try each flavor.
Super fine layers of crispy crepe coated in French dark chocolate, these airy delights have been made in the same method since 1930.
Ooooohh! I've never heard of these - have you? They sound like they are going to be delicious.
And there are 2 of them so we each will get one to try!
These are for 20% off at 479 Degrees for some delicious better-for-you popcorn at www.479degrees.com. I would have liked it if there had been a sample of this popcorn in the box! My assumption is that there was a sample of it in the bigger Deluxe box and the smaller tasting boxes, like this one, got a coupon.
The other coupon is for a FREE Build Your Own Meal Kit from Revolution Foods - an up to $4.99 value. It says they are available at Safeway, H.E.B., Cultured Market, Whole Foods, King Soopers and Target. Looks like I'll be able to put that one to use.
The other nice thing about Love with Food is that after you try all these delightful items, you can then log on to their web site and rate and review them. This earns you points. You can then use the points to purchase larger amounts of all those items you loved. If you don't want to use points you can always just pay with money.
I can't say enough good about this subscription box. I really enjoy getting it and if I had to stop getting my boxes and could choose just 1, it would definitely be this one. It's just a great value and so much fun. Now that I'm back I look forward to my monthly presents all year!
You can find out more about Love with Food at http://www.lovewithfood.com Their boxes are $12 a month ($10 + $2 shipping) or if you purchase a longer subscription the price goes down to $10 with free shipping. They also have a bigger box, called the Deluxe box which comes with even more items in it which is $19.95 a month down to $17 depending on length of subscription. I encourage you to check them out. It's fun!
I only paid $5 for this box because when I signed back up I used the coupon code YUMMY which made it half price. There is also a code of FBGIFT that gives you your first box for Free. I'm not sure if that one still works but it's worth a try. If that one doesn't work, try the other one. I don't think you would be disappointed.
