This is only my second Lily and Eve box but I like it a lot! Last month, they adjusted their subscription options and pricing a bit and I think it was a great idea. This month's theme is all about celebrating confident, empowered women since March is Women's History Month and has International Women's Day. On the back of this card are details for each item inside. |
This print was created specifically for Lily and Eve. The message embodies the theme of this month's box. It's all about women believing they can do whatever they want and set out to do. The picture of this print shows it in a nice frame so I think I'll try to find one to put this in so it's not just tacked to a wall. |
I actually really love this nail polish. I had never heard of Mint Polish before but after reading up on them a bit, I think it's a great product. Mint is a woman owned company in California and all their polishes are hand-made, 5-free, cruelty-free and vegan. They're famed as one-coat wonders so I put it to the test. I put one quick coat on my thumb nail and I was amazed at how fast it dried and how even and vibrant just one coat was! I wouldn't normally pay $12.00 for a bottle of nail polish but this is a good sized bottle and with only one coat necessary, it'll last a long time! Check out their other colors here! |
Shanti Uganda is a non-profit geared towards improving maternal health and to empower the women of Uganda. They provide midwife care, education and resources to women and teen girls. This bracelet was inspired by the stars above their village. Omunyenye even means star in Luganda. It's gorgeous! I'm really glad I got green too, my favorite color. I really love that you get the name of the woman who made your particular bracelet. It gives it an extra special feel. Check out their beautiful products here! |
I recommend you give Lily and Eve a try! They're a great artisan box for women. Head over to www.lilyandevebox.com to sign up now! When you do, you'll get a bonus perfume stick (I love mine!) as well as 2-3 handmade items from independent artisans. You can sign up for a monthly subscription or just try one to see if you like it. Another bonus of L&E is that each month you can preview the items you'll receive (only if you want to) and if you don't want it, you can skip that month. Or just order the items you want instead.
