Indie Craft Sampler is a new subscription box I found on Instagram. It's much like a Box of Happies type of box, catering to small business and handmade artisans. I was instantly interested because after checking out their website, I saw that each box contains 10-12 handmade items! They posted some sneak peek items on their instagram that got me even more excited. I had to sign up as soon as I could. September's box is their first shipment and I'm quite impressed. |
These dog biscuits are made with natural and organic ingredients in Atlanta, Georgia. Unfortunately, I don't have a dog to give these two, but my roommate and I will be taking care of his brother's dog soon so I'll see if he likes these! This is definitely not my style - I never wear big clips in my hair - but this will probably be given to someone I know will use it. It's also well-made with high quality material and metal hair clip attached. I'm not too crazy about this item. It's cute, but not something I'll ever use. Their other items in their etsy shop look really well made on though! This is one of my favorite items in the box! I love foxes and this little guy is adorable! I love the line work and I don't even want to send it to anyone! It'll be hung up on my wall. I do love getting greeting cards in subscription boxes so I'm happy to receive two this month! This one I will definitely use to send a letter to my grandmother! This is another item I'm not too thrilled about. When I saw the sneak peek pictures from The Blue Piano, there were these adorable little fabric rings and earrings and I was hoping I'd get some of those! Unfortunately, I don't think these will get much use out of me. | This body butter smells amazing! I love pomegranate flavored/scented things and this is no exception. This is made with all organic ingredients and is actually a good-sized sample that will get plenty of use! I like the style of this wallet, there are two pockets inside and a velcro closure. Unfortunately, this fabric pattern is definitely not me at all. After looking at their Etsy shop, I would have preferred any other pattern but this one - BUT that's okay. It will most likely get some use when I don't want to carry around a big purse. This little kit includes everything you'll need to make a beautifully wrapped gift! There are mini clothes pins decorated with washi tape, adorable little gift tags, colored baker's twine, doilies, etc. I want to give someone a gift just to use some of these things! At first I wasn't terribly thrilled with a little bag of dried dill - but then I saw that the little label on it says to mix this with mayo and Worcestershire sauce to make a tangy burger sauce - and now I just want to make a burger to try this out! This is another one of my favorite items in the box! These are SO adorable! I can't wait to find the perfect place for these! Probably on my purse so everyone will see them. This was actually one of the items I was most excited about when I saw the sneak peek pictures - I was hoping I'd get them! |
Anyway! If you'd like to give Indie Craft Sampler a try, head over to www.indiecraftsampler.com to sign up! Right now, they're doing a launch special where you don't pay anything for shipping - so the total will be $27.00 for the September box! They also ship to Canada and Internationally with additional shipping. When you buy a box, you can choose what type of items you want to receive - traditional/classic, fun/kitschy/cute, or a mix of both. I chose a mix of both because I didn't want to limit to one or the other. I think my next box might be traditional/classic items, to see what happens.
