Indie Craft Sampler is a new subscription box containing 13-15 artisan/handmade products. Normally, that number of products in one box is unheard of! This is only the second box they've sent out and I think they're doing a great job! So far, they don't have monthly subscriptions but you can pre-order the following month's box or order the current month. I had pre-ordered my October box as soon as I was able to. I really enjoyed opening all those goodies in my September box! | I did tweak my order a little bit because you have the choice of receiving items that are "cute/girlie", "kitschy/weird", "traditional/classic" or "mix of all". Last month, I had chosen "mix of all" because I wanted to get the big picture of what they were offering (also, at any time, you can check their website or instagram account for sneak peeks of a bunch of items you could receive). This month, I chose "traditional/classic" because I wanted to get more functional items rather than little trinkets I wasn't going to ever do anything with. I think it worked out great this time! |
These are really nice prints! The smaller kaleidoscope print is of the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia and the Salut flatcard image is of Buffalo, NY. These will look great hung up in my cubicle at work. I love getting prints in subscription boxes that can brighten up my drab grey walls at work. Check out their other products on Etsy HERE! |
I sort of estimated the price value based on her etsy page. Everything else this size seems to be $4.00. I liked this because of the colors, but really, the quote doesn't resonate with me. After viewing her shop on etsy, anything else would have been better for me, but that's okay - I might need to pick something up for myself sometime! If any of my music-loving friends would like this, let me know and I'll send it to you! (Not to say that I don't love music, I just don't think it makes up every part of my soul...) Check out her etsy shop HERE! | I love this! I saw these pouches as one of the spoilers last month and I was hoping I'd get one! This is actually pretty big too! For some perspective - my Galaxy s4 fits in it with room to spare! I will actually probably end up using this a lot as a wallet that can easily hold my phone if I don't want to carry my purse in somewhere - much like a clutch. I love the pattern I got too - she seems to do great job picking classy pattern designs for her products. This is definitely a win for me! Check out her other products on etsy HERE! |
I really like these a lot! I haven't tried them on yet but I'm hoping they're not too big for me. They're not heavy at all so I don't think it'll be a problem. Normally I'd shy away from this color but since they're flowers, I think the color is great. Very classy looking! Check out her other products HERE! |
This and many other necklaces are on their etsy shop to raise money for their adoption expenses. I think that's a really great idea! Plus, I love this necklace so it's a win-win! They have so many other cute pieces of jewelery too! Check out their other products HERE! |
| I have no idea what to value this at but everything else on their etsy page is at least $12.00 and this doesn't come with a chain so I'm valuing it less than the necklaces. It honestly took me forever to figure out what this is - but I THINK it's a little fox curled up? If I had taken a different angled picture, you'd see pointy ears and the eyes are different from the other cat charms. I'm calling it a fox because I love foxes and it's adorable! Also, all their pieces are handpainted clay! Check out their other products HERE! |
This exact item isn't listed in her etsy shop but her other cards are this same price. I really like this design - and that it's black and white. I like the material of the card and it's the perfect size for a thank-you card or something short and sweet. I can never have enough cards/envelopes! I never have to buy any again! At first glance, this is probably the last color I'd pick out of a lineup - BUT as soon as I put some on my thumb and saw it in the light, I really do like it! Pink is my least favorite color (6-year-old me would have punched myself in the face for saying that), but if I don't put too many coats on, it's subtle enough for me while still having this incredible glittery shimmer. It dries crazy fast too! Kaitlyn McCarthy created her own line of all-natural, organic products - so check out her other products HERE! |
I remember seeing the spoiler picture for this item and they showed this really adorable apothecary necklace and it totally got my hopes up that we'd get something awesome like that. Not so much - I think I have more tea than I can ever drink in a lifetime from subscription boxes. This goes in the giant box with the others. I'm sure it's good, but I just have sooo much tea. | All the other brooches are $5.00 but for some reason, this one is on clearance on her etsy page for $3.00 so I chose the retail value. I think this is really cute. I remember seeing all the others in the spoiler picture and thinking to myself, if I got one of those, I want the one with the fox. So I lucked out! I might not wear it, just cause I'm not a big brooch person, but it'll make a cute decoration somewhere. Check out her etsy shop HERE! |
I have no idea what to value this at because there are no bobby pins listed on their etsy shop. Only earrings and necklaces, so I estimated a bit. This was another item I was hoping I'd get when I saw the spoiler pictures! I love the look of the burned wood and it's just the kind of style and simplicity that I love! I will definitely wear this and I believe I'll be using the 20% off code it came with to get some earrings or a necklace too! Check out the etsy shop HERE! |
I honestly have no idea what to value this at because it's not listed on her etsy shop and I've never had or known what a "fob" is until like a week ago. It's a little big for me to actually put my keys on so I don't think I'll actually use it. It's really great quality though and I love her handmade purses and clutches! Check out her etsy shop HERE! |
I estimated the price because most others listed are around there. I love this - the pattern is perfect and I love cozies so this will definitely get a lot of use! Especially with the winter coming and my love for iced coffees and being able to feel my hands! This is another win for me! Check out her etsy shop HERE! |
This is another item that sort of missed its mark with me. I don't have a need for brooches or seasonal/holiday items since they're basically useless the rest of the year. I guess I'll pin this up in my cubicle at work on Halloween... but then what? This was the kind of stuff I mentioned earlier that I was hoping wouldn't be in the traditional/classic boxes. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. I'm sure many people enjoyed this item! Check out her etsy shop HERE! |
These aren't listed on her esty shop so I'm estimating. This is another miss with me. I saw these in the spoiler pictures and was hoping I wouldn't get the purple/spider/bat ones. Oh well, someone will like them! Check out her etsy shop HERE! |
I'll be keeping this box coming for as long as I can - I really enjoy it and it's so affordable! If you'd like to give it a try, head over to www.indiecraftsampler.com and you can either get this box or pre-order November's box in the next few weeks!
