CAUSEBOX finally showed up! I was having a little bit of anxiety about this one because I was so excited to get it and I kept seeing other people's pictures. My tracking wasn't updating and I didn't want the surprise ruined. So, imagine my excitement when I checked my tracking again today and it said "out for delivery"! Longest few hours of work ever. |
Anyway - CAUSEBOX is a new quarterly subscription box that features $150+ worth of socially conscious lifestyle products for women. This is their first box release and I am already so in love with it. Each product supports a worthy cause from around the world, fighting to help the less fortunate in so many ways. On top of that, $7.00 from every box purchase (or any purchase from Sevenly) goes to 1 of 7 charities they work with. |
This clutch is adorable! It's vintage-inspired and hand crafted in Ethiopia using rich suede sourced from Ethiopian family farmers. Sseko Designs partners with artisans to create beautiful products, helping to end extreme poverty through job creation and educate and empower underprivileged women throughout East Africa. I really like the size of this clutch too - it's perfect to use by itself or put into my purse as a wallet. The color combination came out better in the picture above - black suede with a shiny gold bottom. |
I've always been a lover of chocolate covered cacao nibs. I used to get them from Trader Joe's all the time. These were made by sweetriot, a women-owned company with a commitment to fair trade and building relationships with their farmers. These were made in Latin America. I've already opened these and trying very hard to control myself. These will be brought to work for that little boost I need in the afternoon. |
This was the second spoiler I saw from Sevenly and I was so excited that I had already bought the box. I love elephants and this necklace is gorgeous! I'm wearing this necklace right now and I couldn't be happier with it. Matterial Fix helps support Freedom Firm India, which rescues and restores victims of sex-trafficking in India. The elephant is a symbol and an expression of elegance, redemption and empowerment. |
I was so happy to see this in the box! I've seen this in other boxes and was always really jealous. I love wax seals and was actually just talking to my roommate the other day about how awesome they are (we were watching Game of Thrones). This thank-you card set is really nice too! I love the pictures on the cards and the envelopes look so nice. I can't wait to send some of these out after the holidays! |
I really like this jar! I think it's a great idea and we have a bunch of change lying around so this will get a lot of use. "Fill the jar with spare change, then give the change to a person or charity who needs it more than you do. The artwork on the jar is also a limited release by Sevenly. | I had seen a couple of these on instagram in the last few days so I knew there would be something like this included - I had assumed it would only be 1 sticker! I like the pack of them and I like the sayings on them. I'm sure I'll find plenty of places to put these for a little bit of positivity. |
This was the first spoiler Sevenly released about this box and it had me immediately wanting to sign up. I love everything about this scarf! I love the subtle colors, the lightweight material and simple yet beautiful design. This scarf was hand-woven in Ethiopia with 100% Ethiopian cotton, and is named after one of the women they work with - Alem! There's a quote from her saying "Because of your purchase, I am ABLE to... raise my family well." Way to make us feel awesome, Sevenly! I wore this scarf today and I love it so much! |
The next box is in March and I can't wait already! If you want to give CAUSEBOX a try, head over to causebox.sevenly.org to sign up now! If you sign up now, you'll still receive this Winter box.
